There are many research tools that make designing, implementing, and writing your research results more efficient. Many of these tools are free and open access.

Literature Review:

Zotero: Zotero is a free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research.

Mendeley: Similar to Zotero can be used for collecting all you research, literature, reports in one space and be able to highlight and annotate each article. This will also help you generate is bibliography/reference list of all your readings.

Google Scholar: Google scholar is a great way to find peer-reviewed articles written on your subject. It also allows you to filter by year, so that you can make sure to find the most recent articles.

Open Access Journals: Platforms like Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) provide free access to peer-reviewed journals across various disciplines.

NIHR INCLUDE Project: Offers guidance on including under-served groups in research, with resources to help design inclusive studies.

Newcastle University EDI Toolkit: A practical resource for embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) into research practices.

Community Resources for Diversity in Research: The Medical Research Council (MRC) provides resources and toolkits to support diversity and inclusion in research design.

Government Social Research Inclusive Practices Guide: Offers advice on improving inclusivity in research design, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
