Tools, Resources, & Guides

We are dedicated to breaking down barriers so that community-based organizations can be revered as academics and researchers too. We believe in sharing resources and developing tools for community-based organizations that intentionally serve and are led by Black, Brown, and Indigenous communities. We hope to reach intersecting communities and organizations that are working towards more equitable work. We aim to make research design, implementation, and publication accessible to those most strategically underserved. We believe in honoring different ways of knowing, generating knowledge together, and data sovereignty with community data.

If you do research, you are a researcher.

We are helping put together Tools, Resources, and Guides that can aid the development, design, and implementation of research for community based organizations. Many of these tools are from partners, organizations, academics, researchers, practitioners, and people with lived experience.

RESOURCES

Systems Alignment Innovation Hub creates animated videos to help make some research concepts accessible to the everyday researcher.  We also have longer videos where we discuss topics like undoing racism in research, structural racism, and data sovereignty, and liberation. We do our best to cut out the academic jargon and make our discussion accessible.
